About Working Together
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and EMDR-trained clinician offering individual therapy for adults in-person in Louisville and via telehealth throughout Kentucky.
Credentials & Experience
I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Louisville. I provide individual therapy in-person in Louisville and via telehealth to clients across Kentucky. I bring over eight years of experience working in various outpatient, in-home, university, and community-based settings.
CLIENT-CENTERED SUPPORT
I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, and other mood-related challenges. I have a particular interest in supporting individuals navigating religious trauma, military-connected clients, and those going through major life transitions. I strive to create a safe and welcoming space for everyone and proudly affirm all members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Therapeutic Relationship
When you sit down with me, you can expect a collaborative, supportive, and nonjudgmental space. I work to build a strong, trusting relationship where you feel safe exploring what’s been weighing on you—whether that’s anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, or something you’re still figuring out how to name. I consider the therapeutic relationship the most important part of my work and view it as a privilege to walk alongside clients in their healing.
CLINICAL Approach
My approach is trauma-informed and I’m trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I combine this with tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Client-Centered Therapy, and mindfulness practices to support you in a way that meets you exactly where you are.
